The Elite 400 Slide/Swivel is designed for a 4" post.  This unit is strong and sturdy, and is designed for those who demand a clean, neat unit that enhances the appearancce of the boat it is mounted on. 

 

The Elite Slide/Swivel features a surface mount with a unique and innovative design that allows installation and removal, if necessary, with ease.  Unit has a low-profile design. 

 

The slide/swivel has a heightof 3-1/2".  It is a polished aluminum pedestal mount with a fit to the post that virtually eliminates movement between post and swivel, and provides a very stable platform for the seat. 

 

The Elite swivel point is not the post, so once the slide/swivel is tightened on the post there is no need to reach under the post except to remove the Elite unit.
